Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. 7-Day Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided that:

  • Your invitation has not been published (i.e., not made publicly accessible).
  • You have not sent any guest invitation emails through the platform.
  • You have not used more than 1 GB of storage.

To request a refund, email contact@party-card.com from the email address associated with your account, including your order reference.

2. After Publishing or Sending Invitations

Once your invitation has been published or guest emails have been sent, the subscription is considered consumed and is non-refundable. Real platform costs (storage, email delivery, third-party processing) are incurred at that point.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your dashboard billing page.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you keep full access until then.
  • Your invitation site remains live for 12 months after your event date, even after cancellation.
  • You may export your guest list and download your gallery at any time before site expiration.
  • Cancellation does not trigger an automatic refund of the current paid period.

4. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically each year on the anniversary of your purchase. If you do not wish to renew, please cancel before the renewal date. Charges for renewed subscriptions are non-refundable unless the service is materially unavailable.

5. Service Failure Refunds

If a fault on our side prevents you from publishing your invitation or sending guest communications and we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time, you are entitled to a pro-rata or full refund. Contact contact@party-card.com.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days. The exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer.

7. Disputes & Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — most issues are resolved faster directly. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension and removal of associated content.

8. EU / UK Statutory Rights

Customers in the EU and UK have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for digital services unless the service has begun with the customer's express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will be lost upon use. By publishing your invitation or sending guest emails within the 7-day window, you expressly acknowledge that the service has begun and that your right of withdrawal is forfeited.
